HotSpot produces heat instantly as the supersaturated ingredients are transformed from a liquid to a solid.


Heat is activated by flexing the small disc inside your HotSpot pad. The liquid will immediately begin to crystallize and produce heat up to a temperature of 130° F (54° C).

Reuse by boiling (recommended)

Submerge HotSpot in a pot of boiling water for 3-5 minutes or until the crystals are completely dissolved.

Reuse by microwave

Place your HotSpot in a microwaveable container. Add water to the container until HotSpot is completely submerged and heat for 2 minutes. Contents of HotSpot will dissolve and become liquid. Repeat microwaving at 1 minute intervals as required until HotSpot crystals are completely dissolved.


HotSpot may create temperatures as high as 130° F / 55° C. Test on small area in order to avoid irritation or burning skin. If you experience irritation or burning, remove HotSpot immediately and consult with your physician. Do not use HotSpot while sleeping. Ask your doctor before using HotSpot if you suffer from poor circulation, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis or are pregnant. Do not use HotSpot for more than 30 minutes at a time. Do not use HotSpot in combination with lotions, creams or ointments. Do not use HotSpot on damaged or broken skin. Do not use HotSpot on areas of bruising or areas that are sensitive to heat. People who do not understand the instructions or warnings provided with your HotSpot should not use the product. Do not use HotSpot in combination with other sources of heat. Do not use HotSpot on those who are unable to remove the product themselves. Do not activate HotSpot if the vinyl is damaged. Do not ingest the contents of your HotSpot. If contents come in contact with your skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water. Keep your HotSpot out of reach of children and pets.
